15th May – Departure from Australia & Arrival into Tokyo


15th May –MEL/BNE delegates

Depart from your home port for your daylight Qantas flight to Narita. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel in Tokyo.

Depart Sydney on ANA overnight flight to Haneda.

NH 880 departs Sydney at 8.55pm for Tokyo (Haneda)

16th May


Arrive into Tokyo Haneda Airport at 5.25am and clear customs. Please exit the arrival halls where you will be met by a representative of JTB holding a sign with Makita Australia Tour and transferred to Tokyo station for train to Kyoto. After lunch transfer to your hotel and check in.

MEL/BNE delegates transfer this morning your hotel to Tokyo station for train to Kyoto.

17th May – Kyoto sightseeing tour


0900 Full day sightseeing tour of Kyoto today visiting

Fushimi Inari Shrine famous for thousands of Bright red Torri Gates.

After lunch visit a Traditional Sake Brewery and gain a sense of the brewing process and the opportunity to sample different kinds of Sake. Also visit Kinkakuji Temple known as the Golden Pavilion one of the most Iconic sights in Kyoto whose top two floors are completely covered in Gold Leaf. Return to hotel around 4pm.

1900 Dinner tonight is at a traditional Japanese restaurant the Ganko Takasegawa and includes a Maiko performance for your enjoyment.

18th May – Flight to Okinawa


1130 Depart from hotel and transfer to Itami Airport this morning for your flight to Okinawa.

All Nippon Airways flight NH 767 departs at 2.00pm for Naha.

On arrival at 4.10pm transfer to the Busena Terrace Resort and check in.

This resort is the most famous in Okinawa and it prides itself on its exquisite natural setting – the perfect backdrop for its abundance of rejuvenating activities and spa treatments.

1900 Pre dinner drinks on the Garden Lawns

This evening enjoy a Gala Dinner party, including pre dinner cocktails on the Garden lawns at the Bankoku Shinryokan. Located at Busena Point, it is regarded as one of the most scenic spots in Okinawa and site of the global leaders G8 Summit in 2000. Enjoy entertainment performed by Eisa Dancers.

19th May – Churaumi Aquarium & Welcome dinner


0900 Experience spectacular Churaumi Aquarium, one of the largest in the world. The highlight of a visit to the Churaumi Aquarium is the massive Kuroshio Tank, one of the largest in the world. The tank takes its name from the warm Kuroshio current which plays a large part in the variety of Okinawa’s of marine life. The tank contains a wide variety of species, the most striking of which are the giant whale sharks and manta rays. The aquarium is spread out over three floors with the entrance on the third floor and the exit on the first floor.

After lunch return to the hotel with free time until dinner this evening.

After breakfast please check out of your hotel by 11.00am, and settle any incidentals you may have incurred during your stay.

Transfer to Naha city where you can enjoy a brief tour visiting Shuri Castle and Kokosai Dori street.

After lunch enjoy free time for shopping before we transfer to Naha Airport for your flight to Nagoya.

All Nippon Airways flight NH 308 departs at 6.00pm for Nagoya.

On arrival at 8.00pm transfer to your hotel and check in. A dinner box will be provided for you on the coach.

22nd May – Factory visit to Nagoya and Official Dinner

1500 Depart from the factory and transfer to your hotel in Nagoya.
