Yoshikawa, a luxury ryokan in central Kyoto with a rich history reaching back as far as the mid Edo period during 17th century. This traditional ryokan was home to a wealthy merchant and is based on the ancient Sukiya-Zukuri style of architecture. This style was particularly prominent in the creation of edo period tea houses and the property has strong ties to feeling and vibe of traditional tea houses.
